Offthemapgallery is again pleased to present the next stage in this very accomplished Serbian artist’s work. Pavlovic strives for the sublime by using the elemental. He struggles for an absolute he knows doesn't exist. His is a Bauhausian existing in the twenty first century. And the power of his work is forged out of all this.

Miroslav Pavlovic was born in Serbia, 1952, graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest (Romania) 1974-78, and continued with post-graduated studies at the same Institute 1978-80. He has exhibited extensively since 1978 in Romania, Serbia, Scandinavia, Slovenia, Hungary, Canada, and the United States. He has taken part in many group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad. His works are part of a vast number of collections in Romania, Serbia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, United States, Canada, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Japan,...
